What is the difference between a bot and an AI assistant?
A bot follows a scenario: buttons and prepared answers — predictable and cheap. An AI assistant understands free-form questions and replies in text — more expensive, but it covers an open dialogue. Often we combine both: a scenario plus AI for hard questions.
